New A headtubes, are alot weaker and dont fit into some folding mechs properly so even locked tend to still move. Also, New A headtubes are waaaaay thinner as you can see. I've dented two, and my friends neck has a fat dent right in the front.

New A's Headtubes are made of steel which can be thinner and still fairly strong, While the Pro is made of aluminum which is a weaker metal so has to be thicker to compensate(sp). Also alumminum welds usually are bigger than mig/tig.

So im just trying to say that you sorta compared two headtubes that where made for different purposes and have different matterials.

uh no new a headtubes are aluminium too. They also bend ridiculously easy. and stuff.

they're made of steel. they rust. aluminum cant rust.

I got myself banned.
Just to add, when you lock new a headtube, they bend because they are steel, if it was aluminum it would most likely snap. Aluminum doesn't bend easily without snapping.

the razor new as in england are made out of alluminium, but i have seen a full steel version of an old a that was rusted everywhere at my local park lol.

Old A's are the best scooters ever. With no mods, they are still the strongest, lightest scooters around. I loooove my Old A soo much. If it's been a while since you've been on one, go find one on ebay or whatever and you'll see what I mean

i ride on but theres no way ther the lightest maybe strong but the dropouts snap to easy and theres no way to prevent it or reinforce then

Could somebody put up some info about the RZ Ultralite?

I want to know how durable they are...they're looking better and better to me, being the lightest scooter out there.

aight....you won't like this though.

pros:
- light
- gnarly looking
- bend alot, then snap, so maybe thats a pro? see Mark Atkins (or was it derek beckering?) in NBS4 for more.
- they had like some kind of wacked out headset, idk exactly how to explain it.

cons:
- light
- extremely easy to snap/bend
- hard to find
- verrryyy expensive
- only 800 made, and i know of like 7 that have been ridden and destroyed already, and that doesn't count everyone who bought one back in the scooter craze.

yeah if they were like fifty bucks then i would say why not and go for it, but on razor's myspace you can get them from ali for 200 bucks. just too much money for what its worth. and dude, if weigh 80 pounds, and get by just fine with a pro.

background info: back when there was a scooter craze, razor wanted to put out a scooter that was lighter, sleeker, and just plain cooler. so they created the Ultralight. but it cost too much to make, so they had to sell it at a high price, hardly anyone bought them i guess, and they were discontinued.

also: if any of this makes me sound like chris picone, ban me dammit. please don't though.
