Idk whoever said that the bars had been made out of the wrong material haha the Kevin sigs were the only ones that they apparently used the wrong type of steel for, the Downside Up bars and Strewth bars have always used that 2.3 mm thick 4130 chromo plus they were never taken off the market hence why I said that you (or Josh) were talking about the Kevin sigs.
On a related note, I'm pretty sure my Kevin sigs were prototypes or something. I bought the last pair Scooter Hut had, they were "display model" apparently and when I got them the clear coat was a bit dodgy in a few spots, they had a couple of scratches which I wouldn't think some display bars would get and they had been cut down an inch and a half. (Didn't bother me as I was gonna cut them down anyway) so I'm guessing that someone had been riding them (maybe Kevin) or someone had returned them because of the dodgy clear coat and they were just resold as a display model haha. Haven't bent in the 8 months I've had them though so maybe I was lucky and got a prototype pair that were actually made from the right steel.
