What's the deal with tilt scs's being so damn expensive? In a scooter shop here they were 80 euros.
Probably just ripping people off because they're popular atm, everywhere I've seen theyre like the same price as Protos

Tilt SCS has always been the same price as proto and phoenix. With the exception of the Signature stuff.

They are trying to charge you basically $90 for a clamp o_O

due to high shipping costs, tax, customs ect international dealers of US brands cannot charge the same price as here in the states. Dont really know if it would be any cheaper to just buy from the states and pay for shipping but then you have to wait. so yea idk at least with products like tilt and proto you know you are paying for the best and not some cookie cutter Chinese piece of fucking shit

But he made it sound like Tilt was more expensive than Proto and Phoenix over there. All three brands are within 5 bucks of each other. At least they were, now that Phoenix has their "new 2015 line" of chinese shit they are out of that price range.

But how come US companies have managed to sell parts with pretty much the same price for like 2-3 years overseas?
Edit: Proto and Phoenix scs's in the shop have still got the same price, being almost 20$ cheaper than the Tilt ones.
