I teach scooter lessons too, I'm sure I have a much smaller local scooter child contingency than cam does. Actualy this suet is the first time there have ever been other scooter kids near me, even if they are all younger than 10.

I think it's cool that street riders do this lessons because they would teach more unique stuff and the kids would be different rather than learning backflips before you can learn like feebles or smh

haha, i like how you kinda criticize it at first, but then you're like hey, it's actually kinda cool.
but honestly, cameron poe is so rad that he should be making money off of scootering, and if that's the way he has to do it right now, i see nothing wrong with it. it's true that scootering is a sport without coaches and all that, but i gotta say that cameron is so good that it doesn't matter if he makes some money from teaching kids to get gnarly hahah

Pretty much. But material really isn't a big cost. The labor is the main expense.
A Reventon made in China to the exact specs would be around $20

At one point just to get business over in China there was a company that was giving free labor and you had to pay for the material costs. You can imagine how cheap shit is. That's why i think the price of scooters is ridiculous. In an ideal world, if every scooter company got together with the same manufacturer in the US and had there stuff made all by one manufacturer it would cut costs because its so much product being put out and it would mean better quality that we all know and love. BUT, chances are 1 in a trillion of that ever happening.
