anyone feeling me when i say that inside (insidescooters.blogspot.com) has turned into pretty much pure bullshit? there are soo few things they post that are interesting or new, and i feel like every post from steven t is made just so he can make some extra bucks. the stuff jordan posts is pretty much always cool, but the site is updated only like one time each week, which make all the "news" a couple of days old, and everyone has already seen that new cool mckeen video four days ago or whatever. scootering needs something new and fresh with people who care a little bit more i think.

do you understand how inside works? companies pay inside a certain amount of money a month like a subscription so that they can post their news and videos on inside regardless of steven or jordan liking the video. sometimes they will even tell steven specifically what to post. Jordan started the website but steven handles the business side to it and takes care of what the companies want, so those posts steven makes to "make some extra bucks" are posts that he legally has to post because the companies pay him to. saying it turned to pure bullshit because they are a few days late seems pretty extreme dont you think? they have lives and other shit to do. they dont just stay lurking for new scooter videos.

the reason why inside sucks now imo, is that it's mostly filled with stuff from companies i dislike, and these companies are also the ones who actually can afford to pay for a service like inside. this way, the big companies will continue to grow, but the smaller, legit companies will have a harder time reaching out to their audience. the site started as a place for jordan to post things he thought would be cool to share with the rest of the commutiny, and now it has turned into something quite different. a place where big companies can sell themselves, because there are pretty much no other legit scooter sites. (except sr & lit, but they don't do it for the money)

You act like it costs millions of dollars to advertise on inside. Trust me every company can afford it. Its just a matter of them choosing to and if they take advantage of it. Inside offers a lot to their partners and they don't even take advantage of what is possible. SR runs the same way and companies also pay to advertise here. Idk how you can argue that inside is shit for posting a few times a week and lit is legit when josh posts on lit about once a month.

it's true that i don't know how it's run, so sorry for me not knowing as much as you do. but i would still rather go to lit, just because josh post only dope stuff, while 90% of what inside posts is stuff i don't bother watching/reading. how inside has changed since the start, is what bums me out. i feel like it's a site for companies rather than for the riders and the community in general.

Then don't read it. No one is forcing you to read or watch what's on inside. It's changed because Jordan isn't the same 15 year old that he was when he started it. He's got bigger priorities now then to keep you informed on scooter videos.
