less material, therefore making the deck lighterwhats the advantages of having a deck with slanted sides instead of a box shape?
i love this gary rogershaha "why ride a scooter, when you can ride skateboard"
i hate this guy
Not necessarily, it depends entirety on the design and thickness/types of material used.less material, therefore making the deck lighter
would barely save weight ahha
looks cleaner on some decks, like idk it looks nice on the addicts so idgaf
theyre light as anyway they could put a sharp ass edge and itd still be fine
pegsIts impractical though. If you have a deck like the Addict, thats 4.5 on top, then has slanted edges, then the deck will only be like 4" or less on the bottom meaning boards and lips wont be as easy to balance. Decks being narrower on the bottom also affects smiths and feebles as the front and back dropouts cant be as wide as say, a TSI that is 4.5 top and bottom. Plus no 50-50s unless they're only slanted slightly like with Ethics. A sharp edge on any deck is a bad idea lol.
