got a better idea as to why they are slow when compared to a normal metalcore when that is the one difference in any of them?

So would you say the wheels are more important to speed in comparison to high quality bearings? Like bad bearings with good wheels is bad, but bad wheels with good bearings are ok imo?

good wheel good bearings. bearings are like 15 bucks for a set and then you got an extra set for when the orginals die out

usually about the wheel more than anything. the pu hardness/shape, size of the core and shape/type of connection between pu/bond/core do have a bigger deal than bearing for obvious reason that all bearings are the same in size, weight and material.
in writing that the only other thing i can think of as a reason for being slower other than buffcore is size of core/hardness of pu.
do remember im on average or below average concrete 95% of the time.
my experiences tell me sliders are quite slow until they are 10mm off the core and squared out which chunk not long after.
grippers that broke (1/4 wheel chunk, 1 front 1 back) before i could wear them out enough for a china wheel to wear out first were pretty quick once ridden for almost 2 months. (less than 105mm, more than 100mm) still feel slugish to any chinese wheel ive ridden which do seem to get slower once pu deforms.
