I know it's a little different in different states but in Arizona when you're 15 and a half you can get your learners permit and when you're 16 you can get you're license. But you have to have your permit for 6 months and need 30 hours of driving time before you can get your license.

Hell different to Aus, so you only need to be 16 to drive without a licensed driver in the car?
In Aus you need to be 16 before you can go for your theory test, if you pass you get put onto your L1's which means you need a licensed driver in the car when you drive around and you need to build up 25 hours driving experience and wait a minimum of 6 months before you can go for your L2 test which is a driving test, if you pass that you need to build up another 25 hours and wait another 6 months then once that's done you go into the licensing centre with your log book and you do one more computer test, if you pass then you get put on you red P's which means you can drive around without anyone else in the car but you can't drive between 12 am and 5 am and can't have any alcohol, after 6 months you automatically switch to green P's which is the same except you don't have the 12 am curfew and after a year and a half on green P's you go onto full license which is the same except you can have a little bit of alcohol and still drive haha

Holy shit shit that sounds like a pain in the ass. All we do is when your 15-6mo you can get your permit test after you have that for 6 months minimum you can go and get your listense test and if you pass it you are able to drive around with only 1 person for the first 6mo you have it. Man in England its you gotta be 17 then take a theory test where you gotta get 43/50 and then you just take your driving test then your done but time between tests is so long where i am
