I have found the easiest method to keep grips in place. This is a big problem with chrome bars and with people who don't have an air compressor to put them back in 2 seconds. I have run this for one month and my grips haven't moved an inch.
  1. cut a long strip of electrical tape vertically so you have two long thin strips.
  2. Wrap the tape over itself as close to the thumb end of the grip as you can. Do this on both sides and make sure its thick enough to create a ridge that the grip won't be able to move past (5 overlaps was good for me but one side i have to redo because i guess my grips streched length wise so my ridges are getting covered).
  3. You are suited and booted, ready to ride your machine and take full advantage of your 24 wide bars
