Shelby Grimnes Photography thread! UPDATE

yeah Stevie does and yeah it should be in the July issue.

But Concrete Wave might be running a photo I took in there September Issue because they only have like 4 or 5 issue a year, Automatic liked some stuff of mine, and I have a photo feature coming out in a local AZ mag in September to so I'm holding on to a bunch of photos. So Aaron those aren't mag worthy but I have photos that are.

I don't really over edit them, I don't know if you remember but I used to use the saturation and contrast tool way to much to the point where they looked fake.
I asked my friend Dane and Stephen if I over edit and they said no and my photo teacher said they looked fine. It might be your monitor because I know I look at my photos on a different monitor and they look really over edited. But in skateboarding photography photos are going to be over edited, its just how it is.

I'm pretty sure its true. Because Dane and Stephen are staff photog's for Reliance, Siren and KKSM and they get their stuff published in magazines all the time.
Like I said, Skateboarding photo is always going to seem over edited, its just how it is. every legit skate photo is going to be edited. Photoshop is a way of skateboarding photography, that's how its going to be.

You dropped something, not sure what it was, but it looked like a name.

Most skate photography i've seen is just quality photography.
They don't need to over edit it to get a good result.
