I wear Lotek Throwbacks and I love them, but the sole wears out kinda fast, so I might switch over to some Vans Half Cabs, because I like the mid top thing.

Whatever you do, don't by Nike. I repeat, do not.

Had em about 2 months and only one rip of the outsole.

and effing comfortable.

i like etnies...but stick with one brand of shoe because i think its wierd having to change the feeling everytime you get new shoes

hell yeah, only they are not very protective

the best shoes i have found are marc ecko phranz's (any style)
-light
-long lasting
-comfy (more so then my sb's)
-many styles of same shoe

dcs are nice, but mine are dead after only like 3 months of riding tops, these lakais i got (havent ridden much with them yet) seem to have realllly good grip so they should work out nicely.

I rode vans slip ons for a while, they ripped so easy and the soles just came off then i rode some random hi tops and they just ripped. Now im riding my dcs cos my vans soles just came apart. Im gonna order some new shoes tonight seeing as my dcs are getting too small. EDIT: just orderd some eS inlet skate shoes.
