I could tell you why the iphone isn't the best phone ever, but that would require you getting off of apple's lap and thinking about usability instead of trendyness.
Anyway, I have a samsung droid exhibit II. Runs android 2.3.3? I think, and it's pretty wonderful at whatever i need it for.

right now I have htc evo, i do agree it does glitch sometimes, and a lot of the apps are really slow on it. So I decided to buy a iPhone 4 on Sunday. I cant wait for the iPhone 5 to come out I am going to get it the first day it does. the rumors on it are pretty good, quad-core processor, liquid metal, and a 10 mega pixel camera.

i have the galaxy s2 and my mom got the iphone 4s. the iphone isnt a bad phone in any way but the galaxy s2 is better as far as speed, personalization, specs ect... just about everything but the display which if it had a bit of a higher pixel density would blow the retina display out of the water.
i did side by sides on the iphone 4s vs the galaxy s2 (on gingerbread) and i did a comparison of the 4s vs my s2 which is running ics, the iphone lost both. so you really couldnt be any more wrong.
right now at this very moment, the king of smartphones is probably the galaxy nexus.
edit: the swipe in ics is absolutely fucking amazing. i seriously didnt expect to like swipe but i love it.

I have the samsung droid charge (For verizon)
I ordered a new battery for it, and when i put it in, it says "This phone does not support this battery, please see owner's manual."
When I looked it up it said that my phone is most likely screwed now.

WiFi actually drains you battery quicker. But also today someone told me that its better for your phones battery to wait till it dies or gets close to dying then charging your phone when its like half way somthing do you know if that's true

ive heard thats true with lithium batteries on remote control cars... haha i got a HTC evo 3d, thing's faster than an iphone but not quite as fast as the galaxy s2...

no it doesnt, wifi is wayyy more battery efficient than 3g and with 4g you might as well drink the lithium out of the battery.
and the second part is mostly true.

root your phone and update it yourself lol. theres a bunch of apps in the app store only for rooted phones too so you might as well.

Who ever says smart phones are dumb has never had one. Once you have a smart phone you will never want to go back. I have the original Motorola Droid and it is the best phone made. Had it since the day it came out and it's still going strong. I'm getting a new phone is a few months though, going to be another Android.

I have the iphone 4s don't get it I fucking hate it. It's fast and it gets the job done but it's so fucking boring. It has no good features it's basically an ipod touch that can call and text and get internet anywhere and I don't even use siri its faster to do everything urself. I'd much rather have any other smartphone besides the iphone because I'm so used to my ipod touch it's no different

the layout on ipods suck, another reason i hate them. android you can do legit whatever you want with the screens apps and hacking. ios tries stopping people from jail breaking ipods, and android actually has a mode it goes into when you want to install different/ modded firmwares.
