SR/ADA BUFF Bars

SR BUFF Bars!

I made these about a year ago as an alternative to the "one piece bar" which I never really liked the idea of because you are stuck with that one size forever and if anything bends or breaks you have to replace the whole thing. My goal was to design something that was equally as strong and solid but infinitely customizable so if you ever want to change dimensions or replace parts you can without having to replace the whole bar. I'm not knocking RAD bars at all either. I think what they are doing and what they were/are(?) making are awesome for the sport... I just wanted to play around with something new.

I've been riding these for almost a year now just to make sure it was a solid setup... and it is... very solid. I just recently made a couple more pairs for John Radtke and Anthony "Twan" Bustos as well as KC Corning and Chris Bartnicki. I figure since there are already pictures floating around on SR that I would just open this thread up for any questions, comments and complaints that people have about the bars.

NOTE: These are NOT for sale right now but could be in the future with any luck and good response.

Fuckn sick i'd by some bars if they were for sale what kind of price range would they be?
~ $60 USD before shipping which would include the handle bar, stem, steering column and new oversized lower clamp.

The stem would come already installed so all you would have to do is slide them on the forks, center your handle bar and clamp everything down.

Same man.
Are they like Go ped clamps or...?
Basically, just bigger. I have designs to make SR stems but I'm not about to drop that much money on this project just yet so I kind of lucked out by finding a company who already made stems I could use for the time being.

Yea, I know they're not cheap... but they will outlast anything else out there, guaranteed.

BUFF bars haha

yeah from what twan said, his BUFF bars are alot lighter than he thought at first, and they make your ride feel alot smoother.

I'll post how mine are once i set them up on one of my scoots.

Btw, thanks Andrew! <333333

So why are the widest bars 16"? Come on guys, don't be party poopers!

Sick bars, they look really strong, and I like the idea of being able to change the cross bar too.

Is it me, or does Andrew's scoot has a bent handlebar? (well yeah, it has been used for an year too).

I've always wanted to ask by msn but everytime i forget: will you ever plan to make some separate curved steel plate that would go in the stem under the handlebar? It might stop bending from the edge of the stem.
