if we ordered buff bars in the future could i just buy a star nut with it and have you install it before you shipped it?... yeah chromoly seems stronger.

I won't say that its out of my price range. If its something which can last me really really long , why not. Its much cheaper than buying an entire scooter just for those bars. If you like Rads , go get em. Like bars which are locked but can go higher or wider , get buffed. If you are not sure....... How bout both!?!?

Yea I could probably do that but check it... I'm also gonna be making a star nut installation tool that would install them perfectly straight every time.

It would be pointless to buy if you are only gonna do one star nut (unless you want to install it quick, easy and perfect with no risk of messing it up like almost half the people have done so far... which is always good) but If you and all your buddies start running threadless forks then it might be worth it to buy since you will all need it sooner or later.

Good idea. I'm hoping for a fast progress on that tool because i'm sure it'll come handy in my house when some other characters besides me, Juku and Andreas will order SR forks through me (for example Erti etc).

Yep it would be good if like a group of people with SR fork had 1 tool and they divide the cost kind of thing.

Maybe if I get good or get funkay and I get a SR fork and I go to America , babboons and I and friends can get a tool. Depending if they want it haha.

can you choose what color you want for the top clamp thingy?

EDIT: and how well would a handlebar (w/o the grip of course) pound a star nut in? i'd think it would work better than a socket.

Yea, that would work as long as it goes in straight.

SR BUFF Bars!

My goal was to design something that was equally as strong and solid but infinitely customizable so if you ever want to change dimensions or replace parts you can without having to replace the whole bar. I'm not knocking RAD bars at all either. I think what they are doing and what they were/are(?) making are awesome for the sport... I just wanted to play around with something new.

I don't see how you can change the height? I'd buy some though!

The height can be changed by buying a new steering pole instead of replacing the entire bar assembly. Same with the width, if you want to change you just buy a new cross bar.

how much does just the stem cost to change the hight of ur bars??

You meant the steertube. Stem is the piece that goes on top of the steertube.

Steering coloumns will be $23 a piece like i've read.
