SR vs. TRW

I don't see why everyone on TRW talks shit on SR, and everyone on SR talks shit on TRW. Doesn't anyone realise that having two high profile mainbase forums for scooters could be great for our sport?

Its the same as the world today. Humans probably started out as one group. Then as soon as they disagreed about something, rather than solving it, they went off to their own country. Now that theres a billion different countries, lots of people are saying "well why don't we just unite and get our powerful on".

Basically someone got greedy or disagreed so they made a whole new site.

Exactly. People can have their differences, but we dont need all the bickering between the two sites. Its dumb.

And Brian, once again I mean no disrespect by this, but youre kind of an example of what made me start this thread. Every time you post on here, its bashing someone and/or a negative post. If its not an obviously negative post, its implied by what you say and how you say it. So let me ask this, why do you even bother coming and posting on SR? Isnt it a waste of time? Youre so proud of TRW being your creation and you think its so much better, but you always come back here just to make posts that try to bring SR users down, youre like a spiteful little kid. If your precious TRW is so much better, why cant you just stay on there and be happy, or maybe try being on both sites and be happy? Youre telling Dustin not to talk ----- but you always talk shit about SR. Hmm, i guess its all for progression of the sport...

Fuck these forums.

I refrained from bashing after that battle about posts getting deleted until this section popped up which got me heated (to my knowledge). I usually just help out with camera and give some correct info when thread about OGs pop up. I doubt you can find much of me bashing SR on here in the past 2-3 months. Ask Rob, I shut up on here after the the first battle I mentioned until the mature section appeared.

edit: also, I may have criticized the Proto deck, but thats not SR, and thats just because it isn't out yet and everyone is praising it when it hasn't been tested by the public yet, this happens with every new product.

I'm just tryna ride, I don't need this forum to run my life. Both are a good resource for knowledge and progress of our sport, but a lot of people forget what they are made for. Everyone should just get along, even though I know it's hard to get along with little kids that are cocky trend whores that are only riding just so they can get sponsored. But take the time to get to know people on here and the legit people that ride for the fun of it will shine. Nah mean?

I see what youre saying, but I only have one problem about this post. You say you only post when its about "OG's", but why?
I can see the arguement that they know more about the sport, and they wont ask as many questions as a newer rider, but thats unfair to everyone who isnt considered an "OG". Ive been riding for at least 2 or 3 years before i joined this site, but just because Im not a big known name, Im not an "OG". What ywould you say qualifies someone as an "OG"?
And why do you only respond to those posts? I think "noobs" deserve help too, if not deserve it more. Everyone starts some where, and if theyre new, they obviously wont know too much about the sport. If you answer their questions and offer help (which is the main purpose of any scooter forum site...) then who knows, they could become a great rider. But they cant get that help because no one wants to help "noobs", only "OG's" deserve responses, even though they know a shit load more about the sport than anyone starting out.
