obviously doesnt stand for what buddhism really does stand for, nobody makes a company and isnt in it for the money, there would be no point, buddhism is about having no desire so you will have no suffering.

"He didn't want to become a celebrity"

-__-.. he's steve jobs, theres not a person in the civilized world that hasnt hear that name. donating would have just made him look good.. like bill gates.

and its not the point that he didn't donate, its that he had all this money he wasnt using (theres no way you can use 9 billion dollars even with bills and cars and huge houses) and didnt even bother to donate to a good cause, even when doing so wouldnt have made a dent in his extravagant lifestyle. he just kept it in a bank account or reinvested it and watched it grow until he died.

not saying what he did for technology wasnt good, it was, but people are worshiping this dude when in reality he wasnt an amazing person, just smart, business savvy, and greedy.

finnaly, god im so sick of hearing how he didnt spend his many how you think he should have, it was his for a reason, because he worked pretty damn hard and earned it.

Do you not understand that is why people are starving. The rich 1% of the U.S hoards all the money while others are suffering. It has happened in history where one man owned to much of america`s gas and basically had the whole country in his hands. Im not denying that he has changed the electronic world forever. But you clearly have no concept on how the world works. You can not have most of the money in the world being owned by 1% of the population or you are doomed to fail. Because the gap between the rich and the poor will continue to grow and there wont be any middle class.
