Style VS. Tricks. DEBATE!

Style, but when you see someone do something insanely crazy it's still really cool. But style is just nice. When you see someone whip catch a 6 set, and it looks nice, it's still a hell of a lot better then an ugly ass timed whip on a nine or ten set.

tricks and going big. im gonna stray from the rest of you kids but id rather see someone do a 3 whip down a 7 than someone land a super smooth turndown. i mean style is a very important part of scootering, but if you cant go big style doesnt mean anything. id rather see someone go big and high than someone hopping around real smooth all day. it gets old stayin on the ground. just my opinion.

having style is not the opposite of doing tricks, it's just how you do your tricks, whether they look good or bad.

I care more about creativity than both. I never see creative riding anymore, just tricks. I don't care if you don't have natural style, just try to do SOMETHING different. Find new lines and tricks, do something new, not just do one more whip and barspin. Seeing new, fluent stuff, clean and original, is much better than ANY flyout, box jump, up-a-euro, trick will EVER be, EVER.

i come from a snowboarding/wakeboarding background, so i would definitely say style... i don't like watching "park edits" that just look like competition runs. style for sure. just an opinion, though.
