Style VS. Tricks. DEBATE!

agreed with greg, even though i have non of these i would rather see something creative, than some huge trick or stylish turndown.

creativity is def better than both. seeing riders like capron constantly pushing progression level is awesome, but after awhile its just like oh, that was sweet. it doesn't have that wow factor because it doesn't look good.

same thing goes for style riding. personally a whole bunch of simple but clean tricks put into a video doesn't really do it for me. turndowns all day aren't very exciting.

The thing our sport needs is for everyone to just do what they like and stop following the crowd and what the best riders do. Ride how you want and do the tricks you want. You shouldn't change the way you ride because of how other people ride.

creativity beats them both.
creativity beats them both.

creativity beats them both.

btw, style is not turndowns, everybody needs to stop saying that haha. you can have style with any single trick, in fact, I think turndowns are one of the least stylish tricks on a scooter.

I'd like to see some super smooth stylish riding. Its cool when a person has certain tricks they do and little tweaks they to to them that nobody else does.

I'd like to see some more of the street style found in skating with smooth grind combos and big handrails.

I used to love Stans riding, more then anything, but now I like to see BIG tricks, but clean and with style.

examples:
Ryan Upchurch
Brandon Kilbury
Adam Bolton "Ladam".
