so today i was at my friends house and we always play xbox live and hes always on the computer while i play xbox live but his internet cant handle the xbox running and the computer using the internet at the same time so it causes the xbox to disconnect, today i was disconnected in the middle of my game and i was mad so i went over to reset his computer by pressing the reset button on his hardrive (me and my other friends have done this to his computer HUNDREDS of times and it didn't effect his computer anyway what so ever) so i reset his computer in anger, (my friend knows that his computer hogs the internet but doesn't care to be a jerk) then he turns it back on but it wouldnt load up properly and it would constantly restart over and over without us touching it. We end up finding out his computer has the "BSOD" some windows operating system problem that is unfixable unless you wipe out the computer. But the only way of wiping out of the computer is to get into the hardrive files but we cant because it wouldnt load up, but i found out that you can put a CD into the computer and it will wipe everything out and restart it but im not 100% about it.
What i'm asking for is what should i do ? i feel like an asshole for doing this and i reset his computer to get revenge and to mess around and have fun, but sadly it ended up this way, and the strange thing was is that his computer becomes all messed up when i pressed it when i've done it before and it was just fine. And one thing i dont want to do is purchase a new hardrive for him because that is obviously a lot of money but if its the last thing i can do then i shall to be fair. I've been praying for help but i just want to know what you would say, what you would do in this position.
