The Canadian Thread

I just did my first grass gap today, probably 4 feet tall, 5 feet long and it has a curb in front of it. I'm one of the four people who have done it, and that's including skaters and BMXers.

bars are too skinny, you should hot glyue your wheels if you want them to last more than an hour, go for a new headset before anything, and get a brake haha. other than that its a basic rup :p

Thank you :D, I knocked the curb out of the gap with a sledgehammer, so I'll try to whip or double it later on. And would a downside whip or 360 downside whip over a 5 stair be film-worthy?

definetly! i can only 360, truck, whip, bar, 180, and fingerwhip the 5 by my house, but ive tried downsides, theyre really hard!

downside whips are fucking hard! and im currently riding like 13w bars, so trucks are pretty easy. idk if its just me, but i spin oppo when i downside, and whip normal (and then catch), so its hard to oppo 3 a 5 set, plus its like exxtended, so u have to go fast, and theres literally NO runup room. i have to go down this sidewalk, then make a sharp turn.

il try to make a video of that set today, if i can get to it. i swear im not bullshitting, the only thing i cant do is the fingerwhip, i used to , but i lost it cuz i stopped riding for like 3 weeks cuz i didnt have a scooter (got stolen). and i have sketchy trucks. other than that the rest is easy. I BARELY ride park, so thats why you probably dont know me, but i AM going to markham on saturday, last time i went to a park was newmarket on march 18. sorry, i just dont want people to think im a liar :(
