What if the idea of the Illuminati is simply something the real group behind all the control made up to distract us? I doubt that a group like you suggest would actually allow themselves to be known to the general public.
I propose the Illuminati is simply something to distract us from the real forms of mind control that another larger and darker group is using.

Or at least I thought that could be plausible...

Theres the media mind control theories again. They put the fear out there, people panic and dont know what to do. "They" offer solutions, comfort, and reassurance to basically earn your trust. Once they have your trust, youre just another part of their over all plan for the NWO.

that video is way too long for me to watch at the moment, let me just ask you a few questions to see if the video is worth watching.
Is there any non-circumstantial, testable, and verifiable evidence in that video?
Are the ideas expressed in the video based off reasoned fact, or just opinion?
Are the people in the video qualified in the area the video is aimed to make the assertions they make?

I don't care what your beliefs are, how badly you want to keep them, how much they mean to you, or what you think of people who prove you wrong, and you're allowed to think whatever you want, but when i see bs in this thread (and any thread for that matter), im going to call it. ive defended points on the anti marijuana side, the religious side, the republican side, and any side that people think im opposed too, because in reality, im not on anyones side, and i don't have beliefs that i hold onto, if it's true, ill believe it after it's been proven, whether or not it helps my argument, and if that means changing the way i think so be it. i don't have an emotional attachment to evolution, the big bang, marijuana (well, maybe a little lol) or atheism. if god came up to me right now and kicked me in the balls, and people saw the same thing, id have to believe in god. would i worship him? no, but id believe in him.

about the whole Aliens thing, they are not saying its absolute fact. and they discuss many THEORIES throughout the series. they are just trying to find answers and its a POSSIBILITY aliens MIGHT be the answer. i dont agree that we came from aliens BUT i do believe that they could have came down sometime in the past, and continue to do so, or are stuck here. whenever i watch this i just have the mindset that its all really interesting and fun to watch but isnt true.

They were giving the far fetched alien "theory" yet all they had was.. flat mountains, shapes in the grass, and an old battery. They could have been here, it's a possibility, but so is.. magical mountain shaping, lawn mowing, battery making pixies lol.

i don't see why disproving conspiracy theories is bad though, is this thread a discussion about them and their validity, or a one sided conspiracy theory presentation thread? people should want an opposition to this.

so you dont believe in god but magical mountain shaping and battery pixies? ummmmmm no, lol aliens are way more likely than those. you cant just judge the entire theory after watching 16 minutes. there are 20 episodes that range from 45-90 minutes long.

if you found or know of another theory about all that i would consider it just as much a possibility as aliens, probably even more so.
