Yes, do not run a 14 on there, that's like track gearing. I'd say do 17, I think that's still too high for you but you'll get used to it. And that way you have a bunch of skids spots on your tire so it won't wear down that fast.
Haha, yeah whenever I get it I'll sell it to you, I dunno how soon that'll be though.
Skid spots-When you skid, since it's fixed, the wheel only skids on a few certain spots depending on your gearing, and with a 17t cog you'll have more skid spots than with a 16. That means your wheel will last longer cause you'll be skidding on more spots.
So Taylor and I went to bike polo tonight and played on some dude's bikes, so fun. I already have my bike almost done, I just need a chain and tires, and some way to make it fixed gear. Some guy jb welded his and I think I'm gonna do that hahaha.
Actually I dunno, cause I think I'm just gonna get rid of my freewheel so my hub is fixed on both side in case I wanna get hilly and switch it to the bigger cog. I'll see how much it is for another lockring and base my decision on that.
Yeah it is haha, other than Greg and one post by Taylor this page is ours. I think I'll probably sell you the cog when I get a new one cause it's like $20 for a lockring, so meh. I'd rather spend $30 and get some of it back than spend $50 and get none back.
