I'd prolly say like, 18 or so, Magaiver.

Dylan, it took me forever to learn how to do that stuff, I thought it would be mad easy but learning it is pretty difficult.

I've seen so many people riding 20 on the back and 42-44 on the front i'll and get me a 20 or 22 and see how that works with my 52.

Well I'm riding 44-16 but I wanna do 44-14, but I've been riding for a while so I'm prolly better at stopping/starting and stuff. I started off with 42-16, so that would be about the same as 20-52. I'd say go with 19-52 cause that's not super low and you won't be spinning out too much either.

I tried some cheap 20T cog today the gear ratio feels nice but the cog sucked big time and felt like it's snap or something so im back on my 16t cog wich I think is a shimano dura ace cog. But ill look for a good 20 or 21t cog online. And I also saw a Funn seat that matched my bar tape but I dont have enough money for it.

Editing to avoid double posting.

Couldnt find a decent cog around here searched every bike shop, but I found a sugino crank with a 44t chain ring and it worked like a charm and now the bike's great for commuting. I'll save the parts I change to setup another fixed gear later on.

Watch out tough, a 14t cog with a chainring will make your bike very heavy and slow to start riding from a complete stop and very hard to stop without brakes. 44-16 is a good ratio to get started and learn all the basics. I had a hard time riding 52-16.

Dylan, figure out how many teeth there are, cause 14 will probably make you go way fast and it'll be really hard to stop, especially since you're new and don't have clips/straps.

its was weird but not hard
i can do 180 skids both directions

It's probably harder on a fixed gear, especially if you're spinning mad fast and wanna stop, you can't really put your feet on the ground or anything.

Yeah, but you'll either need to get a lockring tool or go to a bike shop and have them do it, cause it's this weird tool that you probably don't have. And you can't just try to tighten in on with some other tool because it'll come loose from braking.

Do it already, I don't want you to die with a tiny cog in the back.

I should make your title "Fire/fixed gear noob" hahaha.
