Is any one good with center pull brakes?
I tried to set them up. and got them. and then everything all the sudden went out of whack.
I dunno whats wrong.
Sometimes they work right. sometimes they get like stuck in the spot they are for like 3 seconds, then go back. Time for new brakes?

so unfortunately, there is no way in hell i can afford to spend $600
i've been checking craigslist constantly, and i found someone selling this for $120.
i'm going to try and pick it up if the dude emails me back. if i can get it, i plan on putting painting it matte black and probably putting some bullhorn bars on it. its called "the hour" and made by windsor, and of you kids with bike knowledge know anything about it?

I seriously have no idea, I'm sorry. I could find you some pretty expensive wheels but I dunno about some generic ones which I'm guessing is what you're looking for.

Those are only wheelsets, but $70 for a wheelset might be a good investment haha. You might be able to find just wheels on that site, take a gander. Otherwise check out your lbs.

Dylan you can make your own fixed gear hub out of a mountain bike's front disk hub.

Theres another way where you mod one those hubs from the beach cruisers that have backpedal brake. Its something along the lines of gluing your freewheel with a special glue and locking it a lock ring. I'm not sure about that tough all I know is that its the most common method here in Brazil since actual track bike hubs are rare.
In other news the owner of a nearby bike shop quit racing track bikes a while ago and is focusing on road racing. He wanted a BMX bike for his kid so I traded my Mirra Co. bmx wich I dont use anymore for his track bike, im picking it up tomorrow and will post pics and specs, the bike is sick. And is not a road bike conversion, that thing was born fixed and will always be fixed.
