I was going maybe 30km/h down a hill, and I threw a barspin and a tailwhip. Scariest fucking thing ever. Felt like a boss after though :) Almost choked up on the barspin too, kinda got caught on my shirt.

I love doing fat hops when bombing hills. you jump soooooo far. In portland one of the gnarliest hills is Zoo Bomb. You ride from the zoo at the top to downtown portland and it takes a good 12 mins to do the whole thing. Its so rad. you go SOOOO fast. and there are 2 lights at the bottom of the hill so it is super scary to go through.

ive got a good suggestion for wheel selection, try a pair of sacrifice wheels, not much comes close in terms of speed and hardness

It's so much scarier though.

Billie, I have sliders, and they're pretty good, but I dont really trust them when going fast and turning, they kinda feel like they're wearing down, if you know what I mean? My friends vertx wheels are actually really good, hard and fast.

hillbombing is by far my favorite thing to do on scooters, i have some gnarly falls/scars from falling though, i looooooooove loooong ass powerslides.

Pretty sure that feeling is roll. Urethane doesn't stay straight when you turn. It kind of bends in under the wheel and slides a little

was going mach-chicken at like 11 oclock down this pretty steep, windy hill that takes about a minute to reach the bottom, and i hit a freaking pothole. i died haha

Ouch, I was bombing a hill yesterday with one of my friends and it was a super dusty road. My wheels started sliding so I just carried on cause I was scared of slowing down and dying, two seconds later, my friend storms in front of me whilst rolling through the air! :D He was fine, it was just funny to see my friend flying through the air. ahahah.

i do enjoy hitting big hills on my scooter (its pretty much built for it - 4.5 deck, 26h 23w bars) but going round corners on scooters at speed sucks. id take my longboard for a specifically hill riding sesh, you cant beat swooping from one side of the road to another on a longboard. when i was a kid i used to skeleton it aswell, it was hectic.

nice big and steep hill in melbourne. too bad its a main road but on the occasionally late night seshs, its the best to bomb until you hit the bottom and have to hop tram tracks.

did you actually land any slides? because it's not possible without sliding your deck on the ground. i've tried that before and it's not possible at all.

Well not actual slides but more sliding around into different positions. I tried moving the deck but when I actually did I lost control.

I found a "girl's scooter" on craigslist for 5 dollars by my local. It is 20 inches long and has a 5 inch wooden deckplate on it. Time to build a hill bomber :)
