Dude I'm sure they are different although what John/Taylor said sounds very true, I'm just so sure the other YAKs were different.
Heres the thing, I bombed pac pines the other day and I did it 2 days beforet that, Pac pines has insane hills and main roads at the end of them which pretty much slamming the breaks on. I let them cool down but they STILL are bad they are better than before... I think the Cores of the wheel seem stronger but the urethane is kinda messed.
Also the Graphic is so weird, its like peeling off like sun burn and going all weird... Is anyone else getting this? Or is it just me?
I think I might throw mine in the micro wave or something soon...

lol i agree even tho i havent had one before some little kid that can hardly jump a box at me park snapped 2 lol hes like 8 or something it suks we need the old yaks rite now dammmmmmmm

twan put his wheels in the micro wave haha, i dont know how that worked out though.
i think you have to give your wheels alot of treatment with the hot and cold temperatures, maybe like two to three weeks of constant heating and then freezing it as fast as you can.

Wierd...With Yaks and Drives...i would ride em fresh...i didnt cook em and serve em with a side order of bearings or nothing...or Freeze em up and let em thaw...or bomb hills and slam my brake around... I usually jes ride the new pair of wheels nice and chill...like dont go hucking tricks straight away...jes ride around and chill...and i owned a pair of Red Drives for well over 4 months..of hardcore riding..never snapped em...they got so small i stopped using em...and same goes for Yaks...but whatever, Cook your Wheels, Freeze Your Wheels, Bomb some Hills or Nail Polish em..lol...Whichever works.

im just gonna wear them in normal then probably stick em in the freezer, skaters do it and their wheels last longer so maybe it will work.
