Ive decided my knee isnt either cracked or fractured, rather bruised under the knee cap cause that what my dad seems to think, he reeeeeeally into sports so he knows all that sort of stuff. Gay people..theres nothing wrong with that at all. I support gay marriages to the fullest. Religion...dont have one. Is there a God...Yes. But i do not put myself under any class. The term EMO is as poorly thrown around these days as the words "I Love You" from grades 6-12....Thats all.

Thats so true, but love can be found at that age, theres no doubt. My parents are an example.

  * Emo - it's really weird that this seems to be like a national american sub-culture, no one in Poland knows SHIT about emo, my classmate that listens to all sorts of music told me that there is the first polish emo band being set up tho. But on the subject of hatered, I think people hate them cause most of them either is or just seems like being posers to gain respect among other emos. On the other hand I had some other thoughts about the emo culture, like, for example, maybe the rise of depressive emo lifestyle can be considered as some sort of reaction, being tired with today's mainstream macdonaldized culture?
  
  * Condoms - From what Ive heard, the Vatican either permitted the use of condoms for couples with one of the partners infected with th HIV virus, or they were going to do that. Also I think Ive heard something about the church in spain allowing condoms, but Im not too sure. Anyway, even though I think I believe in God, I dont really go to church, and if I were to use a condom (unfortunately Ive never had any occasion too), I dont think I will care what does catholic church say.
  
  * Other catholic stuff - Ive been going to a catholic school for 3 years, no brainwashing or anything tho. I still have some doubts where it comes to faith and many when it comes to the rules of the catholic church, but there is one thing Im sure: The world we live in is better than the world without God, NO MATTER if he really exists or not. As for other controversal catholic rules: most of them have been created by people, the original catholic rules are the ten commandments plus Jesus' commandment of love. However, Jesus said "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven", thus giving us the right to establish rules. However, the lack of churches authority led it to the Reformation in the 16th century, which was said to bring the church back to the times when all the rules had directly evangelic roots. There is a similar situation today, so I dont really know if Im not going to switch to Protestantism someday in the future...
  
  * Homosexuality - I dont have anything about registrating gay marriages so they would inherit stuff, hire themselves in a company and not pay taxes and stuff. But I dont really think that homosexual couples should adopt children, I think that bringing up a child is a thing of a too important matter to let it be done in an unnatural way, by two parents of the same gender. As for gay sex an catholic church, I dont think that having sex with the member of the same gender would be punished with damnation, if I were God, I would just consider it the same way as zoophilia, as having sex with not really the proper living being.
  On the other hand, isn't the fact that the word 'gay' means 'stupid' in everyday english a proof of how homophobic the people in the US really are? Or maybe it just orgins from the original meaning of the word 'gay' as 'happy in a silly way'?

As for more ranting, you have no idea how shitty it is here when it comes to catholic church and homosexuality. We have this "Radio Mary", a catholic radio that's popular mostly among old religious people. The fucked up thing is how they engage in politics! Last year we had both presidental and parliamental elections, this radio told it's listeners to vote the right wing party (normally they would have stay home cause they wouldnt really care about politics if the radio didnt tell them so) which has won both elections with a few percent advantage over a fairly reasonable party which would have normally won, now we have a homophobic, right wing coalition of idiots and it's real hell.

Hmmm Gay/Lesbain couples adopting kids... Im not sure, I think every person on this earth has a right to have children and it would be pretty stupid if they actually made it illegal. The perents sexuality will never effect the childrens. Ever. Plus gay people are generaly more caring and understanding and are grateful to have kids unike the millions of couples who abuse thier children is some way. If I were a kid I would much rather have 2 fathers or 2 mothers then be abused in some way.

PS. This is Canada, gay married couples are everywhere, people smoke pot in front of police stations, nobody owns a gun and our drinking age is 19 so my veiws on everything are pretty accepting haha.

But In Ireland, Racism and Sactariansm Is VERY big.There are 6 highschools in the town I go to school in, and only 1 of Them Is Biracial and will accept students of any race, Religion or Creed. Ireland Is DECADES behind Places like America in things like Racism, Over here you can SCREAM in Public the N word and Nobody will care. But the most of it is Catholic VS Protestant. Its all Englands Fault. Hundreds Of Years ago Ireland was getting on Fine, But Then, England Invaded an Unsuspecting Ireland, just to Gurther its Empire. And It STILL hasnt Given The North Freedom. Yes, but... I think that every child does have a right to be brought up by a natural pair of parents? I think that parents are the earliest and the biggest influence on a child, and I think that, by such strong influence, the child can somehow be internally influenced that a homosexual couple is a correct pattern of a family? dunno. It might work for adopting older kids though.

Religion, it all comes down to faith. Some of the stuff Catholic's belive in are quite unnessary in my opinion but they do a lot of good for the world. I really have no faith in "god" but I think there has to be a higher power. I dont belive in Heaven and Hell. I dont understand why Hell would exist if god loved everyone no matter what. I think its something that was made up along the way like a lot of it, hell is a way to scare you into keeping your faith and its been working. In the end its all what you want to belive because it wont be proven anytime soon, if at all.

The only thing proven is Jesus was a person. A person who did a lot of good for a lot of people and the old testament will show him just as that. BUT the new testiment was written way after then old and makes Jesus out to be super humen, walking on water, turning water into wine, cureing the blind and things like that, so in genral religion has changed in time to make things more extravagent then they might have been.

exactly. although i do believe in miracles, the bible is not meant to be taken literally. do i really belive jesus fed 10,000 people with a couple fish and some loaves of bread? no... but i do understand that the story is trying to convey a point and that there is a deeper message behind it. you have to interpret (sp?) the bible. if you actually read it, you can find so many similiarities to modern culture and lessons you can apply to your life. im not trying to preach, i really dont care if people read the bible or not, i only know it from going to catholic school. all im trying to say is dont say its fake or made up when you dont even know what youre talking about.

I was going to post this after danny's first post, but my parents threatened to take away my laptop if I didn't go to bed...fucking stupid parents, still stuck in the 70's !dodge

Yeah, I definately agree with most of you here on the religion topic. I went to a christian camp (not too strict; we had a rock band play during worship and it was FREAKIN AWESOME!) for 2 weeks this summer, and I went in there as a half-believer, and came out as a half-believer. I, compared to most people that I know, have completely RADical (haha pun!...I'm pretty fucking lame lol) beliefs compared to many. I half believe in creationism, and half in science.
I'll start off with science. What I don't get about science is the big bang. How could something come out of absolutely nothing? I believe that there definately had to be some kind of supernatural being that worked for millions of years creating a universe that could run on its own (this is where I believe in evolution and science). That being (or as some see as god) created the laws of physics, biology, and to be more general, science as we can only begin to see it today, and everything on this world that you see around you every day. Everything about our universe, even our world, had to be engineered with such perfection and care, that I highly doubt that everything was just an accident. Let's move on to evolution. This is a question that I have never gotten a proper answer to, yet I never think that I will, as long as people are biased either towards science or religion: "If humans evolved from apes, then why is it that apes still walk amongst us today?" I mean wtf? That has got to be the gayest shit I've ever heard, and people can somehow believe it. I think that humans didn't evolve from apes, but rather started off as humans, just like apes started as apes, and adapted to our environment as the years went on. We became smarter, etc. just like all other animals have to adapt to their environment (ie. they grow thicker fur, or longer claws and teeth, etc.) we as humans were born with the ultimate tool of survival, our brains, and countless discoveries and knowledge have made us who we are today...
And now comes the part where I vent out my problems with religion lol. The bible, The Quar-an, The Torah, etc. These books and their respective religions, in my opinion, were made to serve one purpose, and one purpose only; to promote and create a perfect world. All these rules like, do not kill, do not steal, be nice to others, etc. are all very good rules, and they make sense, but they were all written down to ensure that people have a better life. In this sense, I have absolutely no problem with most religions whatsoever (except scientology lol). But where the holy book enlightens, it also corrupts. We can see this through the church, etc. For instance, I believe at one point, the church asked its followers to give money to ensure a safe passage to the after life. BULL SHIT BIATCH!!!!! I also don't agree with some stuff that they have in especially the new testament of the bible. For instance no sex before marriage? Well good luck promoting that in these times. Plus, why the hell do you think that safe sex was invented? So that we can safely enjoy banging our girlfriends without worrying about STD's (STI/STD same thing, don't care) and accidental pregnancies!!! I also don't get why the bible condemns homosexuals. If the bible WAS a direct message from god, then it definately would be the other way around; the condemning of the condemners. I believe that it does say in the bible that god gave us free will, and homosexuality is a lifestyle choice (much like choosing to follow god, or choosing to be an athiest - or inbetween - where I stand), and not a condition...Which brings me to my next point, sin. I fail to wholly understand how can we be created in the image of the 'perfect god,' when we sin. That is why I have led myself to believe that god and satan are both the same person (think about it like that twoface guy or whatever from batman or some marvel shit like that), and we were created in his/her image.   * Emo - it's really weird that this seems to be like a national american sub-culture, no one in Poland knows SHIT about emo, my classmate that listens to all sorts of music told me that there is the first polish emo band being set up tho. But on the subject of hatered, I think people hate them cause most of them either is or just seems like being posers to gain respect among other emos. On the other hand I had some other thoughts about the emo culture, like, for example, maybe the rise of depressive emo lifestyle can be considered as some sort of reaction, being tired with today's mainstream macdonaldized culture?
  
  * Condoms - From what Ive heard, the Vatican either permitted the use of condoms for couples with one of the partners infected with th HIV virus, or they were going to do that. Also I think Ive heard something about the church in spain allowing condoms, but Im not too sure. Anyway, even though I think I believe in God, I dont really go to church, and if I were to use a condom (unfortunately Ive never had any occasion too), I dont think I will care what does catholic church say.
  
  * Other catholic stuff - Ive been going to a catholic school for 3 years, no brainwashing or anything tho. I still have some doubts where it comes to faith and many when it comes to the rules of the catholic church, but there is one thing Im sure: The world we live in is better than the world without God, NO MATTER if he really exists or not. As for other controversal catholic rules: most of them have been created by people, the original catholic rules are the ten commandments plus Jesus' commandment of love. However, Jesus said "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven", thus giving us the right to establish rules. However, the lack of churches authority led it to the Reformation in the 16th century, which was said to bring the church back to the times when all the rules had directly evangelic roots. There is a similar situation today, so I dont really know if Im not going to switch to Protestantism someday in the future...
  
  * Homosexuality - I dont have anything about registrating gay marriages so they would inherit stuff, hire themselves in a company and not pay taxes and stuff. But I dont really think that homosexual couples should adopt children, I think that bringing up a child is a thing of a too important matter to let it be done in an unnatural way, by two parents of the same gender. As for gay sex an catholic church, I dont think that having sex with the member of the same gender would be punished with damnation, if I were God, I would just consider it the same way as zoophilia, as having sex with not really the proper living being.
  On the other hand, isn't the fact that the word 'gay' means 'stupid' in everyday english a proof of how homophobic the people in the US really are? Or maybe it just orgins from the original meaning of the word 'gay' as 'happy in a silly way'?

As for more ranting, you have no idea how shitty it is here when it comes to catholic church and homosexuality. We have this "Radio Mary", a catholic radio that's popular mostly among old religious people. The fucked up thing is how they engage in politics! Last year we had both presidental and parliamental elections, this radio told it's listeners to vote the right wing party (normally they would have stay home cause they wouldnt really care about politics if the radio didnt tell them so) which has won both elections with a few percent advantage over a fairly reasonable party which would have normally won, now we have a homophobic, right wing coalition of idiots and it's real hell.

Nah pete, gay means Happy in the english language. And in this case i agree with travis, i think that EVERY person has the right to be equal with every other person, therefore gays should be able to adopt kids. Also another thing is our government, but im not getting into that, my post would be so fucking long.

What's up with Lebanon and Israel? Israel has dropped 15000 bombs on Lebanon, all because the Hezbollah took 3 soldiers hostage? Is that a fair tradeoff? My mom is French and Lebanese and she lived in Lebanon when she was younger, and she has lots of family there. Her house was bombed by the Israelis in the 70's, so three decades later the same stuff is going on? And the Israelis didn't start bombing because three guys were taken hostage, because a month before that happened a friend of my mom's wanted to go there but couldn't get to the south of Lebanon because of all the bombing. It doesn't make any sense.

Ya man, I agree. My cousin who is 15 has been smoking cigarettes, weed, doing all kinds of hard drugs like e, coke, heroin, etc., and gets completely wasted every other weekend, all for about 2 years now. It pisses me off too because he is really smart and has a way above average IQ, but he has no morality at all. He's now a complete prick most of the time, and now he's dropping out of high school and joining a gang and shit. It's ridiculous how anyone can do all that shit, and get away with it, and still think that nothing will happen to them in the long run.
