What's up with Lebanon and Israel? Israel has dropped 15000 bombs on Lebanon, all because the Hezbollah took 3 soldiers hostage? Is that a fair tradeoff? My mom is French and Lebanese and she lived in Lebanon when she was younger, and she has lots of family there. Her house was bombed by the Israelis in the 70's, so three decades later the same stuff is going on? And the Israelis didn't start bombing because three guys were taken hostage, because a month before that happened a friend of my mom's wanted to go there but couldn't get to the south of Lebanon because of all the bombing. It doesn't make any sense.

i think so. i dont fully understand the whole thing, but im pretty sure they saw it as the last straw kind of thing. dont forget, hezbollah is also shooting rockets into israel, theyre just not as good at it. the only problem i have is that israel is doing it so wrecklessly. last week they bombed this city and ended up killing like 50 kids and no soldiers, thats just rediculous. i think they have the right to be attacking hezbollah, but theyre killing way too many civilians in the process.

no, im not happy about all the soldiers dying, but we got ourselves into it and we cant just be pussies and leave. after 9/11 everyone agreed we needed to go after terrorists and countries that harbor them. most people were behind the war when we first invaded iraq. now a couple years later when things didnt go exactly as planned, everyone wants to pull out.

no iraq didnt have weapons of mass destruction, but saddam hussein, who welcomed terrorists and killed 10s of thousands of people, is out of power... sounds good to me. in gettysburg 50000 people died in 3 days, and only a thousand or so have died in years in iraq, so its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. yeah, the soldiers should come home, but we cant leave until the jobs done so stop bitching about it.

Considering that people who did that were ultra religious as everyone, there was some sort of church law that justified this, and there must have something remained in catholic church's homosexual statement.

This is a question that I have never gotten a proper answer to, yet I never think that I will, as long as people are biased either towards science or religion: "If humans evolved from apes, then why is it that apes still walk amongst us today?" I mean wtf? That has got to be the gayest shit I've ever heard, and people can somehow believe it. I think that humans didn't evolve from apes, but rather started off as humans, just like apes started as apes, and adapted to our environment as the years went on. We became smarter, etc. just like all other animals have to adapt to their environment (ie. they grow thicker fur, or longer claws and teeth, etc.) we as humans were born with the ultimate tool of survival, our brains, and countless discoveries and knowledge have made us who we are today...

You must have not learned biology or whatever you have there. HUMANS DID NOT EVOLVE FROM APES. Humans and apes had the same ancestors, but the evolution lines separated about 5 million years ago due to a big drought in some part of africa which has made our ancestors get down from trees cause they all have dried out.

It's ridiculous how anyone can do all that shit, and get away with it, and still think that nothing will happen to them in the long run.

The american government has this thing thats kidna like a terrorist list, it goes something like 1/ iraq 2/ iran 3/ syria or something and i forget the rest. Well anyway, iran and syria both suply the lebanon governemnt with bombs and weapons and shit, and america supplys israel with bombs and weapons and shit, and american government seen this as liek an oppurtunity to try and get at iran and syria and sorta weaken then and stuff, so america is trying to fight them through israel.

according to what jesus says in the bible, yeah. its not what god you believe in, its how you lead your life. of course theres still people in the church that will tell you "if you havent accepted jesus as your savior you cant get into heaven", but personally i think thats bullshit. its your actions that define your life, not your thoughts.

I was taught all my life from my ignorant parents that humans EVOLVED from apes, which seemed kind of like bullshit to me from day one, that's why I was arguing against it here. But thanks for finally explaining the whole story to me, I actually never heard that before. Makes you think, "wtf do we learn in Canada?" To which I say, "nothing at all, except for how to build igloos, hunt moose, and tame wild polar bears." Pretty exciting eh!
