Just finished watching season 1 and 2. I'm going to read the book now, but i have a question in season 1 in one of the flashbacks when Shane was trying to get Rick out of the hospital when he was in ocoma, why did he hide from the government guys? We're they killing alive people too? Why would they do that?

Its a pretty commonly used thing in anything ahving to do with zombies. The government comes in and just kills anyone, in case theyre infected and just not showing symptoms yet.

I think its kinda cool how theyre giving shane more development. He was just kind of an asshole in the book. But in the show its showing how he was Ricks best friend, banged his wife, Rick comes back and now things are never gonna be the same between Rick and Shane, and even Lori.

So whos stoked for the rest of season 2 in february?

When is it coming back on? I expected it on in early February, guess not!

What I like about the show more then the book. The show you can really tell they are trying to modernize it. Like what the timeline would be if these is happening currently. I think the show is going to be alot more interesting as it progresses! Can't wait. Keep me posted if you here any details on when its coming back on! :)

It back on this sunday (February 12th).

Part of me wishes it all took place somewhere with more of a variety of weather. Theyre in the south, its hot as nuts, thats about it. I think if they threw in the weather as a variable, even if only for a couple episodes it could be cool as shit. Like if it took place somewhere more north, they could throw in some cold weather, maybe even snow. And I feel like the people doing the show would be smart enough to make the weather effect the zombies too, not just the survivors.
Even with it being in the south, they could still have a nasty storm or even a hurricane roll through. It could easily be overdone, but if they do it right I think something like that would be awesome.

The government was bombing Atlanta, which basically means they are giving up hope of eradicating the walkers. They bombed the city to kill as many as they can, but they also killed anyone who was still alive in the city.

Atlanta=fucking amazing street spots
out of this world

Is she dead? So glad he shot both of those ------s in the bar. Such a good starting episode.

The episode was kind of slow at times. It was one of those episodes that had a lot of dramatic but really important conversations. And then that ending bar scene was fucking nuts! Now theyre gonna get into a shoot out with the rest of that group????!!!??? WHAT THE FUCK! What if Hershel gets shot or killed? What if any one there gets shot or killed?? Its huge characters!
And Loris still in a ditch somewhere. I think Darryls the only one who even knows that she left.

because of the long break since the last episode in the beginning i lost touch with the characters and kinda thought the acting got cheesy but about halfway through i realized they are living in a completely different world. idk how they are supposed to act lol

and as for the end, i dont think Rick should have shot them so soon.

He only shot them because the guy was being so persistent about coming back to the farm with them, and then he reached for his gun first. Rick was just faster haha.

i thought he set his gun down on the bar though?

and i heard a rumor that the producers bailed because they dont like the direction the director is taking and season 3 might be the last if it happens at all!!!!!!!!!!! ):

Definetly shocked that they cut that guys leg off, wasn't worth it in my opinion! It seems all the worst things that could happen, are happening. Watched The Talking Dead after, and they were discussing season 3, it's definetly not going to cancel. Thoughts?

BUMP!

So whos still been watching?? Last nights episode was pretty uneventful up until the last 5 minutes again. Those last 5 minutes were fucking insane. I was not expecting what happened to happen! But Im glad it did. Im happy that they didnt do the cliche "happy ending".
