Really If you think about it... Wouldnt the bars just snapped at the point where the bars goes into the scs if Tom would have rode that instead? This stuff just feels like the bars didnt hold up from the pressure and such heavy load

With scs you can just make the bars as thick as you want but with HIC you will have to increase the OD to do that and use a bigger clamp

I would really like to see that all bars gets thicker in the goods on the part of the handlebar that sits on the fork/SCS since that is the part that has too alot of the leverage created when riding and is therefore more prone to failure

Im not saying that anything should be done or that any manufacturers bars are weak, I think this was mostly wrong place at the wrong time since every part is bound to snap or break sooner or later but something can always be done:)

It's not luckys fault. Lil Jon 360'd the 'El Toro' and his bars didn't break, though he did hit his face on the bars haha.
Get better Tom.
Your still my favorite rider.

I think everyone can learn from this. Don't go off half cocked thinking you are invincible (not directing this at Tom) when everyone obviously isn't. I would really like to see some thicker bars being made and bigger clamps to hold these bars. Bars seem to be breaking left right and centre.
