I would like my bars to be 22 high and 17 wide haha, that is about all that matters.

The clamps are doing there job fine, these bars snapped, they didn't just "slide off"

And matr streching clamps is just bad since the threads on the clamp gets uneven pressure and will strip much easier

anyone ever consider he may have:

A. an over tight clamp. ive heard and seen that helps break bars easy
2. he abuses his bars? maybe i dunno him or anything. and
D. he was just unlucky and got that slightly flawwed bar? its not a perfect world. seriously here.

Yes because people fail to understand that the bars collapsed under huge amount of stress because when he landed he more than likely put an unfathomable amount of weight/force on the bars as he landed causing them to relieve the stress anywhere they could which in this case was above the slit and clamp. Since it did snap above the slit it wasn't because the bars were hic or not.
