lol i didnt expect it to work cuz first i got a drop on the counter and my mom flipped and told me to put it in the garage so i did and then she wanted be to put the lid on the thing but there was too much water so i wanted to empty it out but i ended up spilling it all over the garage so i just threw it in the grass and hosed everything down haha i picked up the wheel and i was like sweett! great tut btw

how far does the dye go into the wheel? does it dye o the core or just into the wheel like 2mm? because i need to know.

Tommo: I would say about 5mm. I dyed my AO sometime in July, and the dye wore off as I rode it up until January. It's faded on the sides aswell, but its still looking good.

Jackson: Nopers. No such thing as white dye. And like mixing paint, adding a colour to black will make - you guessed it - more black. Sorry bud.

SOA wheels are also dyeable. Doesn't effect the core.

does it also depend on how long you dye it? like if i died it for 24 hours would it do the whole urethane?

Not sure. Keep in mind that the water will go cold, and its soaking from the outside in, there's only so far it can seep through a compound such as urethane.

I guess you could reheat the water every hour or so, this being the case use a microwave safe container. Adding more water will further dilute the dye.

Oh, you wont be able to tell how far in the dye would have soaked. It won't wear off for about 4 months anyway. How quickly do you go through wheels?

I can take a picture of a dyed GM I chunked, if you'd like.

yeah, that would be great and yeah i go through wheels averagely depending on what wheel. but i am definatly gonna try this on my purple metal core with a........umm. i don't know what colour recommend me a colour. i might also dye my bro's XT wheels. thanks for this man. do you have MSN?
