Purple... black's your only choice bro. Purple is too dark for any other colour to affect it. If you bought a yellow or orange wheel then red dye would dominate on them, get some tripped out lava effect happening, woo woooooooo!

As for the XT wheels, you've got the whole rainbow to choose from. White urethane FTW. They also have a huge sidewall for you to write stuff on. You should seriously write "OH NICE" on the sides.

How Bleach Works

Chlorine bleach works by the chlorine breaking down the dyes that make up colours (as in a fabric) into smaller parts that are no longer chemically bound to the fabric and therefore can be washed away. Chlorine bleach is cheap to make and is equally effective in cold or hot water. However, it is very hard on textiles, and can easily damage many types of fabric.

You can try. Pretty sure it won't work, as original wheels use something other than dye to colour them.

how far does the dye go into the wheel? does it dye o the core or just into the wheel like 2mm? because i need to know.

If you left it over night in a container somewhere warm it should theoreticly go to the core, black on white should work best.

if you put metalcores in bleach it oxidizes the aluminum and turns the core black. i did it about 2 months ago and it looks pretty cool
