I never said I cared about companies being rider owned. In fact rider owned companies tend to produce the same or lower quality parts at much higher prices.

go break a madd gear deck or bars, or try to break anything vertx, and look how cheap vertx parts are.

I'm not going to break parts, I don't want to break parts. Maybe I'm just not as good as everyone else, because my rup v2 still hasn't broken. So why would I buy parts that are unnessicarily heavy, when I can just buy better performing parts that I won't break that cost the same?

The answer was because he doesn't give two shits about rider owned companies. I think madd is probably more rider owned than vertex.

you are gonna be quite disappointed to hear that its mostly money that is earnt from investors from around the world and run more like a corporation than anything

That's what I thought, hence why I used it to compare to vertex.

Mgp needs too stop putting horrible skull stickers on everything. If you have ever rode the new shock tape it really doesn't do anything it just feels like you have 5 layers of grip tape on

I just got a new 2012 Mgp end of days and it is the best scooter ever IMO. I agree that the graphics they put on them look stupid but all u have to do is get new griptape and bars. But other than that it is sick. It comes with a fsa mx orbit headset and its quite a bit lighter to. And Mgp has Ryan Williams on there team and he is crazy good. So overall Mgp is probably my favorite brand.

So you are saying the new ones are good and the old ones suck, right?
That seems to be the trend of peoples' talk, but I have never seen the new ones before.
I think if MGP made a deck with flat sides and bottom, with the scalloped, integrated headtube, I would totally ride it.

I agree completely.

i bought the new end of days nitro extreme forks not even a month ago and it snapped clean a couple of days ago, nearly broke my arms because of them. but i had the old nitro forks a year ago and they survived nearly a year. to me, Madd Gear have begun making lighter products in the expense of weaker parts.

The forks are the exact same on both models dipshit.

Just my personal opinion. Madd Gear has kind of gone downhill lately. They made a walmart scooter, and they have a bike team that came up randomly. I just don't like any of their parts. Decks are good for footjams

their bike team wasn't random. and yeah, i agree about the walmart scooters, i have no idae why they even made those....
they should stick to serious scootering, i mean what serious rider would get their parts from walmart or something

I don't ride mpg, but I have to say the she devil and end of days scooters are some of the nicest scooters I have ridden.

Of course companies are ''in it for the money'' that's the WHOLE point of a company, to earn profit.
and damn its not about RIDER OWNED, its about who makes the most legit parts.
