Do you wax the bottom of your deck and the obstacle or just the obstacle?

What wax brands should I buy/stay away from?

Is there anything else I need to know?

wax is basically universal, just don't use surf wax that will make you stick. From my own experiences I've found that softer wax works better on un-waxed ledges and just wax the ledge/rail/etc rather than your deck.

when im at the skatepark I wax my deck because skaters get mad if i wax the obstacle but i like to slide fast and sticking is the worst. but in the streets i wax both if i need to

if you wax your deck some of the wax will end up rubbing off on the obstacle so I don't really see the point of waxing your deck rather than the obstacle

I never spend money on skate wax, like 5 bucks for a little cube. Just go to goodwill and buy a huge candle for a dollar.
I usually wax my deck and the ledge or whatever. Idk why its just kinda a habit now but the deck wax isnt needed

you can go to grocery stores and buy parrafin wax for like $4 a pound and it slides super well

here is an idea. try going faster instead of using more wax. unless its a grimy unwaxed ledge haha. but for real if you are't sticking then its fine on wax

This. Ya gotta feel the crete. You gotta know its under you. Like the slight friction slows you to a comfortable speed. And too much wax and not enough speed makes chris a sad boy
