What ever happened to the community?

Every time I get on SR all I see is pointless arguing and disagreements. What happened to the way this used to be? I couldn't wait to get on SR a few years ago and see what new threads were happening and what funny posts people made. I don't know if it can be like that again it just seems like the online scooter community is dead and so much more loose knit then before. Good videos get like 10 replies in the video section and its just a bummer.

I could agree with that forsure. I just think if our sport is going to survive we need to band together you ja feel me?

I see what you mean but i don't think its completely necessary to have a tight knit online community. As long as people are still riding and connecting in real life that's what will keep the sport going.

Look at anything else, there are countless forums for snowboarding, surfing, archery, stockcar racing, (etc...)and none of them are known to have a main forum. Well as far as i know

It's because of all the new little kids on here, I was one of them end I still a,pm , but I'm just saying. I used to be on SR all the to,e when I was home or out , anywhere , but now I go on rarely and post here and there because I lost interest in it. People became complete bitches and everything took a turn for the worst in my eyes. People got really negative and it just sucks because last year and the years prior it was great and I've been in here for a little over a year and things have just started to change in the past 4 months with new members just spamming or scamming and it's getting trashy as I see it.

The average rider is younger and definitely more disrespectful than it used to be. Can't ban one person for what a hundred are doing.

All you ever do is come on here and complain about how the current status of the SR isn't how it used to be and that somehow that's a bad thing. It's evolved and yes, there are more little kids arguing and whatnot, but it's a much larger community now and it's only getting bigger. It's out-done two other major forums (TRW and Inside) for years now, that must mean something right?

Everyone has always argued on this site. If you go back and look at old posts, there was still plenty of arguing and shitposting. You just grow more aware of it over time.

i just scroll past all the people that i dont care what they say. then its the same. But it is just an internet forum... cant have super high expectations. Another thing is that you probably are just noticing all the childish bullshit more now since you are (hopefully) maturing.
I still come on here everyday, stupid kids on here just make it more entertaining for me.

Really what happened to the site was all the "pros" or OG's and just people to look up to stopped using the site. We need them so the kids will have somebody to listen to and see how scootering should be expirenced and be told when to stop arguing. The people that I'm talking about are Hep Greg, Tyler Billman, Travis House, Aaron, and you (Tyler). I understand why everyone left though, I would imagine spending 4-6 years on the site would get boring while you get older and a job it's just hard to find time, but I mean kids look up to you guys, I look up to you guys, and I'm not sure if you understand how much power you have. I'm pretty sure most of you do. The only way this site will change is if you guys do it you're the only people that everyone respects and listens to.

Never say something to someone that you wouldn't want said to yourself.

If everyone followed that rule on the internet it would be a nicer place, but oh well. I kinda find the arguing funny.

Ok Twhee, I'm sorry for coming on this forum and making our sport evolve more. I am especially sorry for enjoying what I do and continuing that passion on the internet. It may turn into arguments and stuff but that's how it will always be. Just grow up abit and understand that not everyone is going to live up to your expectations of a good forum member.

You just compared an unsponsored college sophomore from Bumfucketteville, North Carolina to some of the biggest names in the game. I understand, he's very mature, but there are a lot of other high post users who are just the same.

I demand respect for Tyler Billman. He is one of the most legitimate people on this forum if not the most.

I agree with this, the only ones that ever post are like Billie Rainbow and Alex Steadman, but i think the mods should have a get together and just delete all of the known arse holes off this site. Or there should be an age limit in a perfect world, I know this would never happen though
