I think i might buy a flash in a month or so, and i was wondering what flash i should get? I have a D40. I was looking at the SB-400 wireless flash, but i'm not sure how it works like with transmitters and receivers, and how many i need. It would be appreciated if someone explained that. Thanks alot! :)

ok thank you. I'm saving up for a MacBook so i can't buy shit right now :((

uh oh, someones being trendy and spending an absurd amount of money for a laptop they could get for the same performance for half the price but the white exterior looks so cool so you need to get it.

I'm just sick of windows, and i have a few friends with mac's and i love them, and i need a new laptop for high school, this one sucks.. it's been refurbished 3 times. Plus i know someone who can get me one for like 3/4 the price so. it's worth it.

i know i probably sounded like a dick in saying all of that, but i'm just trying to get across the point that you can get more performance for a lower price if you looked into what you're buying.

this is all my opinion, but macbooks are absurdly overpriced for what they offer, and i think buying one is a complete waste of money.

i have no argument here. you definitely can get a windows system for much cheaper and with better performance (number wise anyway), but what you dont get with windows is reliability. ive actually ran linux on my computer for a number of years because i had such bad problems with windows. sure when it comes to macs youre paying for the name, but when they have a slimmer, sleeker, more reliable and dependable operating system i could care less if im paying for the name because in my mind, im paying for that reliable and dependable system. and even though they are expensive they are still fast, they run windows faster than computers built to run windows can (actually proven that mackbook pros run windows much faster than similarly priced windows specified notebooks). i wouldnt care if its a trend or not. i dont conform to the non-conformists. so until apple decides to make their os compatible with more hardware, im just gonna keep saving for it as well.
