What is considered pro?

Everyone wants to be pro, but there is a question. What does pro really mean? .. does it just mean getting endorsements.. or maybe just being on a pro team? Here are some things to think about.. My good friend Kevin Vannauker once said on the way back from the skatepark the other day.. If dave mirra dropped all his sponsors is he still pro? so it makes you think. Is it just considered to be really good, maybe its considered to be when ur on a pro team. or when ur getting endorsements.

so in other words for EXAMPLE .. lets say terry isnt on micro any more.. is he still pro? and if so what makes him?

Tell me what you think. !alien

"professional" means that that is your profession. or you make money from that area of expertise. i just consider pros or experts as being the best in the game. WORD!?!

i consider pro to be sponsored and getting payed. an exception to that would be at competitions, like at the next TIC comp im entering pro when im not acctually a professional, just that i think i have a chance against the pros

No one will ever agree on this and it has been brought up a hundred times over the years.

I say you are only "pro" if you are making a living off it which no one is so I don't consider anyone to be pro.

We pretty much get enough to buy a small house and a mid-class car. I just ditched the house and bought a Mazerati. I blew the rest of the money in Vegas but I'll earn it back by doing a few demos.

yea as no one is technically a proffesional in this sport i say just class pro as the best people or if you want to make a diffferent class just call people sponsered if they get stuff/are on a team

i consider anyone that really just wow's me as pro. like, cary. wqay before he wa son micro i considered him pro... becasue ijust knew he was. and jesse, before he was on razor i would have still considered him pro.same for coedie, and kevin
