Whats the best Film editing program

Whats the best Film editing program i use windows movie maker 2 but it crashes all the time is there any real good ones out there

That's what TPC is for haha.

But I use iMovie, pretty good for me because I don't do much editing and it's pretty simple too.

ya, all I have is macromedia flash 8 and windows movie maker so I'm kind of stuck with learning how to edit in flash because movie maker sucks ass...

Adobe bought Macromedia awhile ago. Theyre known for flash. Adobe has Premiere, i love 6.0 but im not the biggest fan on the newer versions.

this is a bit of a bump, but anyways..

I was in the exact same boat as you and I was looking for a good, reliable, easy-to-use system that I could edit my videos on.

I ended up getting Pinnacle Studio 10 Plus..
It's really good, it's soo easy to use and has a lot of effects and transitions like other systems. I was using Final Cut Pro the other day and I couldn't tell much difference. It's also very cheap. I'd recommend it to people like you for sure.

And Phil you have a mac you have no reason to be an Adobe fan haha. Well except for photoshop and after effects!

I like using Sony Vegas 6.0.. I don't know how hard Adobe Premiere Pro is because i only had it for a little while and got frustrated with it. Vegas is simple enough for me to comprehend and to do the things that I like to do with editing but complex enough to kick movie makers assÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?².

At film school we use Final Cut Pro. Of course, if you don't have a mac, that doesn't do you much good. :-(

Windows Movie Maker to the max!!! lol jks i use it cuz i cant be stuffed to go and buy any good editing things. I would ask gary if i were you, hes pretty mad-ass with editing

edit: sorry, i didnt see that gary posted already. lol.
