See, if this is true thats a very good move on their part. They do a lot for their team in terms of travel for comps and stuff but thats only half the puzzle. You have to live through your team.
Now if only they put out more magazine ads with actual riding photos rather than a photoshopped photo of a truck on top of one of their scooters...

madd gear only does this whole kids attraction thing because there are more kids in the sport as we know, and madd gear advertise their products well, which makes the kids want their products more, unlike what any other brand is doing. also because they have some of the best riders on their team, and the kids only want to grow up to be exactly like them therefore buying a madd gear and trying to ride n stuff
why are you guys complaining about this though? would you rather see little starter kids with OG setups with proto tilt addict district etc. completes? that would give the parts a lower class, they get reputation and the riders that use the parts and the strength and design/style, unlike if parts that only little kids ride and have flying rainbows everywhere that have no style nor strength whatsoever. madd gear created one of the strongest decks on the market which only probably 7% or so owners of the decks actually snapped a madd deck, it can look good on a setup as well.
lastly why do you guys hate on kota? hes done nothing to you and i highly doubt he ever would. its just his style and he doesnt ride street which makes you guys hate, which is retarded. he throws down some technical stuff and really clean tricks most people have probably never seen or done before. you should at least give him some respect if not any, its not really fair on kota

Yes, they do. Thats fine but I'm not an 11 year old boy so I don't really support them, along with most people on this forum who are 15+ and pretty much every single person my age. You don't need to defend MGP, we all know what their brand is by now and thats totally fine.
Hating on Kota was so two pages ago. This thread is about companies.
Kota has done something to me actually. When I first started riding at the beginning of last summer I ordered my first real scooter from them, I waited all summer for that scooter and it never came I will always respect him as a rider just not a person.

First off, these little kids are the future of your sport.. as annoying and trendy as the scene is becoming.
I know its irritating, but its better to show them what the sport should be about rather than just bitch about how downhill things have gotten.
It is partly the newer companies faults for the amount of ridiculous parts and advertisements they are putting out there, but their customers are the ones who contribute to it.
This is all stuff that should have been expected to happen with the boom of the sport, but as these newer riders get older they will (Hopefully) grow out of the pink and purple skulls to learn some better tastes in their riding and community.
The best thing to do is not stress yourself out about it.
The older riders in the community didn't start riding because they had a big scene, they did it because it was fun, thats where you should be.

Also, just think about yourself, most people don't like the sound of being selfish but just think about your crew and other people close to you - what's happened to some of the district riders doesn't concern you (yes, it's wrong) and it's fine to say what happened is bad but don't get stressed over it unless you were like BenJ or Kevin just forget about it.
