these models both the spoked & solid core model, are SOA design, we have said this months ago on this site, that YAK will have the same model

the model yak have im pritty sure are the first made ones using different compond of PU same as our Blue models, we a lot have seemed to fail compared to the new Orange models we have they are unbreakable

yak even states Caution. Past models of these wheels have shown a tendency for the urethane to separate from the aluminum. While we hope this has been corrected with this model, we cannot guarantee that this problem will not reoccur. However, the urethane rarely leaves the hub, and it is a relatively simple matter to epoxy it back to the aluminum,

hmm this yeah seems to me he doesnt know much bout the stuff they sell, as they are not a designer

also this statment prooves this 100%
it is a relatively simple matter to epoxy it back to the aluminum. no wheel maker would suggest this,

i will have wait as u also to see review on these new yas=ks, but s far as im told from factory they were made same time as our blue models, also i think there made with old design which has stripes of alloy into the PU to try to bond it correctly

cant wait try sum as id like compare it to our old blue & new orange models

Doubt it. From what i've heard and seen.

i Dont understand what u mean, cause what u just posted as reply doesnt make sence to weather u doubt the whole thing i wrote or one part or more then one part,

i also dont beleave u have heard or seen any think to much to relation to my comments, the fact i designed these wheels with the factory, also know info to when these yak metal cores where made & the design compared to ours, also the fact yak ave 6,000 pcs of these, so hopefully for them there not the faulty models

as said i dont understand your reply, as u DONT KNOW INFO i do on these wheels, so i doubt what u have heard or seen if actualy to relation to my comments, & only relation to old models of these wheels

as i said need get sum so i can compare them also cut one inhalf to see if differnent to our models also wait for reviews from other riders who are going to try these new models out

Dude, eventually someone is going to break the wheels you make, it's just a fact of life. As an unthreatening example, i'd say Proto's are probably better than your wheels, seeing as I have actually ridden both, and people have broken Proto's, so its going to happen eventually. People get so up in arms about breaking wheels but its innevitable.

To jacksons comment, i indeed am not upset that our first production of SOA metal cores didnt come out 100% good quality also the fact we released them early, it is same story with proto wheels,

& yes i do agree with protos are better, i just yeah dont think its right for people to judge product with out using it which a lot people here hhave done in past

That site is wholesale... I'm not spending $350 just for one wheel.

as for your comment steveM there YAK brand soon be possible buy world wide from local skate or bike shops who stock yak wheels, like blade school, a company who recently have bad monthed these wheels saying there cheap copys of eagle-sports, yet blade school, AXIS PTY LTD just released a model froggies Axis branded, THERE MADE ON TH SAME MACHINE THAT MADE THE 20MM,Same as the yak ones, YET THEY ARE BAD MONTHIN THEM LOL

we sell the single wheel by wheel ut as said im not 100% sure till i get one of those yak ones in mail if there 100% same, our new models i can confirm are strong & will last compared to first batch released in NOV

Lol, you dont spend 350 dollars on one wheel, you get 350 dollars WORTH of wheels, so its like 50 of the yak metal cores.

i would not know till i get one inhand,

s far as im told there made with strips of metal into the PU to stop them from dehubbing this was one model we org tested for factory then helped redesign them, i was told 6,000 pcs made for yak are models withh strips of metal into the PU cant confirm till arrive & cut one up

no i dont know any shops that have them yet, yak only released the image & info today, we have our SOA branded models which sell 1 by 1 they indeed are worth the price, compared to last released batch

Everyone who lives in Europe and wants to have Yak Wheels (all Yakresearch Products like LowPros and Bearings) can order them soon in the Shop S5.
I also produce several reinforcements and modingparts.
The Shop is not open for european shipping yet (just Germany and Austria)
as soon as it's open i'll post the link.

If you have questions about the shop or want to reserve some wheels just PM
