the model yak have im pritty sure are the first made ones using different compond of PU same as our Blue models, we a lot have seemed to fail compared to the new Orange models we have they are unbreakable
yak even states Caution. Past models of these wheels have shown a tendency for the urethane to separate from the aluminum. While we hope this has been corrected with this model, we cannot guarantee that this problem will not reoccur. However, the urethane rarely leaves the hub, and it is a relatively simple matter to epoxy it back to the aluminum,
hmm this yeah seems to me he doesnt know much bout the stuff they sell, as they are not a designer
also this statment prooves this 100%
it is a relatively simple matter to epoxy it back to the aluminum. no wheel maker would suggest this,
i will have wait as u also to see review on these new yas=ks, but s far as im told from factory they were made same time as our blue models, also i think there made with old design which has stripes of alloy into the PU to try to bond it correctly
cant wait try sum as id like compare it to our old blue & new orange models
Doubt it. From what i've heard and seen.
i Dont understand what u mean, cause what u just posted as reply doesnt make sence to weather u doubt the whole thing i wrote or one part or more then one part,
i also dont beleave u have heard or seen any think to much to relation to my comments, the fact i designed these wheels with the factory, also know info to when these yak metal cores where made & the design compared to ours, also the fact yak ave 6,000 pcs of these, so hopefully for them there not the faulty models
as said i dont understand your reply, as u DONT KNOW INFO i do on these wheels, so i doubt what u have heard or seen if actualy to relation to my comments, & only relation to old models of these wheels
as i said need get sum so i can compare them also cut one inhalf to see if differnent to our models also wait for reviews from other riders who are going to try these new models out
Dude, eventually someone is going to break the wheels you make, it's just a fact of life. As an unthreatening example, i'd say Proto's are probably better than your wheels, seeing as I have actually ridden both, and people have broken Proto's, so its going to happen eventually. People get so up in arms about breaking wheels but its innevitable.
