^^ Concepts are a decent amount of money, especially for your first bike. Just looked, and one site said $600 for the frameset.

is it bad to have it that loose cause thats how mine is.

And you're trying to give advice on fixed gear bikes? It's not terrible, but it's not good, it'll wear your chain out faster and if you have micro gearing it'll hit your chainstays and stuff.

greg, I thought you were getting a pista cooncept?

the complete Pista Concept is like 1400 bucks. im getting a Pista, which is like 650 for the complete.

i really need a fixed gear, but i'm too cheap to throw down that much cash. i'm waiting to find a decent one at craigslist for like 200, but i dont know if thatll happen.

Yeah, just lurk craigs and you'll be able to find one. Or just get an old road bike and do a conversion, you can do that for dirt cheap.

wat im getting

20.6 Barcode

S&M Pitchfork Lite

FBM Protect ya neck

Animal Bob's post and seat

coalition clamp

primo mix w/ hoffman generator

industry complete front wheel

odyssey plastic pedals
NO. I have a friend who barely rides and he destroyed his. If you ride a bike the way you ride a scooter you'll hurt yourself with those. I suggest Odyssey Trailmix pedals, so grippy. I guarantee that they are gonna last a lot longer than the plastics too. Plus the plastics get so slippery especially if you ride trails.
