why do people change bikes to fixed gears whats different about them apart from u cant change gears

Well for a few reasons it's lighter, less complex so you need less parts, it's easier to work on, it's more quiet, and it's fun too. Cause if you ride no brakes you gotta be looking ahead at everything so you don't wreck.

its faster becasue its lighter and the gear its set on rotates the most and i dunno greg said something about having 100% something to do with speed.
