as you can see, they didnt weld it right. They went through the alu and just filled it up with welds. Goddamn, I hate micro right now.

nope, haven't got any other deck that I can ride properly. It sucks tho, I was filming for my minivid. But I hope to get a new headtube.

I contacted micro couse I have a slight fear of my micro heatube breaking (already has cracks) and the thing is... warranty covers that, 1 year from purchasing (or if you got it on the video contest)...

All in all, contact Micro, send pictures, enjoy a new headtube...
Only thing, you modified the deck (cuting it and stuff...) so I'm concerned about that one, but give it a try...cheers...

EDIT: About the "welds didn't go trought bla bla"... check pro headtubes from the inside, that's how stuff is welded...
If I remember 3 out of 100 XT's have problems (that were the numbers pulled by micro), new headtubes are stronger...
