If your going to be taking filming classes get a Panasonic DVX100B. Showing 24P footage to your professor will get you good grades :0

Haha i filmed some shit at woodward today 30p and i love it. I wanna get the rest of the video journal clips in 24p than im done with it for scooters.

I got to use a dvx today!!! I was sooooo excited. I was trying out on 24p, and I was doing some shots of just a tailwhip on flat of my friend, And DAMNNNN 24p is hard as shit. You have to move the camera 1 inch/hour for it to make it look decent. Motion blur is soo anoying. 30p is definetly where it's at.

Huh? GL2s are $2000+ depending where you get it from. VX2100's are $2100+ and DVX100B's are $2650. I'd save up an extra $650 for a camera that is wayyy better than a GL2. Or if you want get the Sony FX7 that is HD and 3 CMOS, i heard the lowlight isn't too great but its 1080i for $2600ishhh.

Haha i was in awe when mine came. I got mine insured for everything though, i let Dan use it today and Casey is always playing with it.

And yeah with the 24p its like if the object moves across the screen quicker than 7 seconds you get strobing and all that shit. VJ8 isn't going to look that great because its mostly 24P, and i just started using the 30P yesterday so im gonna be mixing. Its also my first video with the cam so there some mess ups in it exposure and zoom wise :( It happens though
