please do yourself a favor, and when you use the fisheye, turn off the optical image stabalizer. it makes the image suck. but nice camera. is that mini DVD or miniDV? if its miniDVD, good luck editing it lol

It doesn't affect the image quality at all. Parker, you're making this stuff up. OIS with a fisheye just makes the vig jump around (which is ugly anyway).

anyways i read everything, james your a dick my photos are good. but to everything esle.

the reason why i might get a VX is because i'm not taking high school seriously, so my dad said if i get good grades he will get me the camera so i work hard for it. i said i would buy one before my dad told me this. and if i don't get one, oh well i'm not a big filmer anymore.

When i get a job in sep, when i'm old enough ill be saving up for the flashes and stuff, then when i'm 16 ill be saving for a car.

James i like how you say my photos suck when they don't if they sucked so bad people on skateperception or skateaz or dane would be telling me that too.

damn it you got the exact setup as i was plannin to get.. yes i know i previously said i was tryin to get a gl2 but its a bit out of my price range now.. but still sick cam.. tell me how you like it and the baby death looks sick as well.

its really nice dude, gets great colors in my opinion(but im also coming from previously owning a 1 chipper, so....) and it has plenty of manual settings, good layout of controls and all that. the one wierd thing about it is playback, using the joystick to navigate through the footage is a bit hard

i've also previously owned a kenko, and let me tell you the baby death is superior to it in all ways, great distortion, much wider than the kenko. id also recommend ordering some spacers for the baby death, i just got some and they worklike magic to widen it. i got 3, but im only gonna use 2 cause with 3 you get a certain amount of vig, and i think that looks nasty

heres a comparison of the babydeath and a modified kenko

and heres a review of the camera

sick man sick, i just realized that you have the gs300 and im gonna be getting the gs500.. along with the baby death.. now with all these spacers and such.. im trying to get that great fisheye affect that is known with the death and baby death but i want no vig at all.. so are you saying that it starts to get vig after three spacers?

yeah dude 3 and above get spacers with my gs320, idk about the gs500 but id reccommend getting 3, then trying 3 and if theres vig, just take one off

i know theres a thread with the baby death and spacers somewhere on skateperception; i'll try and go find it

EDIT: btw i was thinking about that and your gonna need a 43mm to 37mm step down ring so your baby death will fit the camera. wasnt sure if you knew that or not, but just in case. also that step down ring will act as a spacer already.......

EDIT 2: apparently also there is a little bit of vig if you decide to go with this setup. heres the link for the thread on perception, if you want http://forums.skateperception.com/index.php?showtopic=126160
