now that i think about it, all wou would have to do to make a scs is to have some relatively thick metal tubing, a hacksaw(to cut the slit in the back so it can acutally clamp), one small sized drill bit(for the screws), and two different sized large drill bits(one side to fit bars, one for compression cap/forks). holy shitt, that would probably only cost like $20 bucks and a couple of hours. sorry proto. i think i will acutally try this, possibly a tutorial. ghetto knucks ftw nigz

if anyone who already owns an scs can tell me the dimensions it would help a bunch. side to side, front to back, and height are needed. also, it would help if you could tell me the inner diameters for both the bottom and top half. thanks, i would love your help.

lol what are you going to drill through?? for the bolts. and you cant really just drill a 30 mm hole through steel tubing like that it may work but its a bit more complicated than what you described

no, i would get a square bar. i don't care too much about the looks, but if i wanted i could easily round off the front edges.

its not as easy as it looks and u gotta thread it so the bolts thread into the clamp

yeah and instead of threading them into the clamp you could just use lock nuts so you wouldn't have to worry about the bolts stripping or anything.
