Ok guys I have a design im about to test out for ghetto knucks, tell me what you think

1. I am going to get 2 metal tubes
2. One will be about 2 inches and the other about 4
3. The 2 inch tube will be smaller, and welded inside the other tube, then a slit will be cut into both
4. The headset cap will rest ontop of the smaller tube
5. I will buy a longer allen bolt for the headset cap, which will go into a starnut in my fork like a normal scs
6. There will be 3 double clamps over the metal tubes


7. (I dunno) I might get another tube and cut out a section, then weld it over the clamps to make them look sexier



I'm not sure yet about the length of the tubes and such but will this work?

PS: I realized i would have to buy oversized or stretched clamps

chris, when you tight your bars with the compression, that forktube will slip down so it makes nothing. you gotta have the starnut grabbing the bars not that forktube

I've herd it work so i thought i give it a try, i stuffed up my last star nut and another 1 is $20

did you have to weld a truck onto the forktube?
