Your future/school

Does anybody here actually give half a shit about their future or school? It seems like it's cool to fail around here or something. I do relatively little homework, and still manage to be in the top 3% of my class of about 900 kids, I mean..I actually want to go to college and have pretty big aspirations.

Does anyone else here actually give a damn?

I do. I've been trying my hardest the marking period to be in Honors Soceity.
Highest averages in all my classes,
Straight A's on my report card.
Maybe because I'm only in 7th grade.
But Yea, I am in advanced math, so its a little harder then Normal.haha

Wish i did better.
I don't have a good memory retention, regardless of study.
So i only have a decent general knowledge, i'm not too good on exact details, making exams where you have to be indepth, but concise extremely hard.

i do care but im lazy,and my math teacher is a real douche,last year (8th grade) i had C's and higher but now my math teacher is a douche,he gives like 3 minute lessons at the very end of the class,then gives you like 25 quiestions of homework,and if you dont understand the lesson,welll to bad,cause im not getting late for my next block so yeah

i always manage to get A&Bs and then a single F.

but i fail that single class b/c i dont go to class.
also the only classes i enjoy involve any type of history or any time of human study other than art.

i was in art school but i kept rotating to different colleges for reasons. I already have a design job. so whether or not college is worth it im not sure.
but i like keeping my insurance. sooo
i guess ill keep pushing until i get a degree in either art history or graphic design.

I got myself banned.
High school i didn't give a fuck. Once I got out of high school, took a semester off between graduating and starting college, I realized good fucking luck finding a good job without a degree. Although my degree is pretty much useless in my field, its still a degree. If I am looking for a job elsewhere other than film, atleast I have a degree to prove im worthy of job because I completed college.

I actually put no effort into college. I don't know how to study. My brain only retains what I hear in class. I tend to pay 100% attention in class, because it is the only time I remember shit. Pretty sweet since my major is like 75% field work, 25% classroom bullshit that will not help you with film (english, math). Im a fucking bum though, I do more acting in my film projects than production and editing, but you need actors for films!

^ a friend of mine right out of high school got a ton of film jobs, but i think he did a lot of lighting/ electrical also.

he worked nearly 24/7 fr a year so he decided that wast fun anymore and is going to school.
hes part timing for some show i think

but anyway what im saying is KNOW SOMEONE
or search craigslist like a fiend b/c having don something before finishing college i would imagine is a major benefit.

i do. im pretty average couple a- and a couple b+ i try hard but i also enjoy stuff out of school, im happy with my grades and with stuff outside of school. haha im only in 7th though

I did alright on the SATs. Going to a catholic school also helps. Who do you think a college wants to let in, a kid that went to 12 years of catholic school or a kid that went through 12 years of public school?

One of my ideas is i start up an editing company on the net. Pretty much like feel reel scooter but much more broader. A client pays money for me to edit a video or movie for whatever reason. That way i am, my own boss. Working at home. And doing what i love at the same time.

i care...i have pretty good grades hope to get in a ggood college because as much as i wish i could scooter forever i most likely wont and i will def need a good job

I went to 9 years of Catholic school so far and have held an A and B average throughout my whole life. I'd like to go somewhere like Boston University or Penn State. I play baseball but let's just say I'm not getting any scholarships for that. I just finished mid-terms before Christmas break and I did pretty good on them. There you go.
